How To Create A Magic Sigil
How To Create Your Sigil
Whatever your statement of purpose is just write that sentence down on a piece of paper as concisely as possible. The next thing is to go through and cross out all of the repeating letters. Take the remaining letters and go to a chart of Norse runes which has an equivalent letter of the alphabet to it. Find out what the rune is for the letters that you have left over. Here is where it gets a little bit artsy. Find the repeating patterns in the runes themselves and come up with your sigil. What I like to do is put it on a piece of parchment paper. Or even a piece of flash paper. You put it on a piece of paper and then take your smudge stick and smudge the paper. This cleanses it of negative energies and whatever is on the paper. Then you can charge it with positive energies. After you smudge the paper then sit down in a quiet place and meditate upon the sigil. Meditate upon your statement of purpose. When you're ready you can do all kinds of different things. You can take your sigil and fold it up into a piece of paper so you carry it on your person. Which I sometimes do. Carry it on your person until that particular thing has come to manifestation. Or you can take the sigil and tape it up somewhere in your house. You can stick it on your front door or on your bathroom mirror. Anywhere that you'll see the sigil. Because you might not remember what the sigil actually was for but in your subconscious mind, which is the one that's driving the boat, is going to remember. It's going to keep that going. Part of shifting your paradigm. Another thing that I like to do sometimes is take a piece of flash paper and write my sigil on it. Then in a moment of ritual light it. It burns up really fast and goes into the ether. Depending on what your statement of purpose is, you can take it and you can bury it in your garden. Or your front yard. There are so many different ways that you can do it. Sometimes I'll make a gris-gris and put the sigil in it.
Simply put; write down your statement of purpose, cross out all the repeating letters, take those letters and find the equivalent Norse rune, use a Norse rune alphabet, then get creative and combine those runes into one sigil. Then sit down smudge the sigil. Now it’s ready for use.
